April Wrap-Up + May Reading Month (2019)

Happy Star Wars Day and May, fellow nerds! It’s finally become slightly cooler thanks to a few timely storms and things are looking hopeful now that spring is everywhere. April was an amazing month in terms of reading because of the OWLs readathon. I also read some cool blog posts, successfully evaded Endgame and Game of Thrones spoilers and made new bookish friends. Some of my most anticipated books came out in April, which I had the pleasure of reading early copies of. Read on to find out which ones and what I’m looking forward to in May!

December Wrap-Up + January Reading Month (2018-19)

Hello, dear readers! Hope you’re having a wonderful time on the last weekend of the year. Who else is excited for the new year? I have so many plans that I mean to execute (I shared some of them in this post) and I really hope I can carve out time every day to work towards all my goals. Before I start building castles in the air for January already, I’m going to recap how I fared on the last month of the year. November and December seem to have been slow months for me, but they share some remarkable differences, mostly in the quality of the books I read. Without further ado, let me give you all the juicy details!

November Wrap-Up + December Reading Month (2018)

Happy December, dear readers! If you’re freaking out about how 2018 has slipped through unnoticed, you’re not alone. I actually took a whole month off (without informing beforehand – sorry about that!) but I have no idea where all the time went. Suddenly 2019 is too near and I feel very unprepared. At the same time, I’m excited to take the next step in my blogging journey. I don’t want to share too much right now because I’m going to be dedicating an entire blog post for that later on. Coming to how November went for me, I tried to take part in two readathons. Although I didn’t read as much as I had planned to, I’m quite happy with whatever I did manage to accomplish. I know this has been a recurring line in 2018, but I still struggle to not beat myself up over not doing everything as per plan, so please be patient with me! Without further ado, let’s dig into the details.

October Wrap-Up + November Reading Month (2018)

October was one of the worst months of my life, to be honest. Not in terms of the books I read or anything related to that but personally. I don’t have a lot of words to share but I’m dealing with some really traumatic personal stuff, so I’d really appreciate some distance and understanding at the moment. It made me reconsider many things, go on a short hiatus at the end of October and I’ve been struggling since to get my life back to normal. This wrap-up may not be as detailed or wordy as usual mostly because I’m in the mood for brevity. However, sharing my love for books makes me feel marginally better, so I decided to write this post despite everything. With that sombre introduction out of the way, let me talk about the reading month I had and what I’m looking forward to in November.

September Wrap-up + October Reading Month (2018)

Weekends and new months are some of my favourite points in time, mostly because it means relaxation and a chance to start afresh. I didn’t really have a good reading month in September in terms of numbers but more on that later. It was a really hectic month and a bit of a low one for me personally. However, the blog did fabulously well and I’m so grateful for everyone’s continued support! Without further ado, let me launch into the details.

August Wrap-Up + September Reading Month (2018)

It’s the start of a new reading month and the season of fall in many places. Although the weather here is still forecasted to be dreary and rainy, I always feel more energized at the start of anything new. Overall, I had a good month in August where I read a total of 7 books and somewhat successfully finished one readathon I had committed myself to. I also had the best stats this month on the blog. Thank you to all my readers who made this happen! There are also some really exciting books hitting shelves this month that I’m very happy to share, so let’s get into the details now!

April & May Wrap-Up + June Reading Month (2018)

I’m so glad to be alive and posting on the blog again! It’s been raining steadily for the past one month now and my favourite month of the year has arrived. I can’t wait to get back into the blogging rhythm again and finally have the time to visit all the lovely people who follow me and chat with me here. Without further ado, let me talk about how my reading went in the month of April and May. After that, I’ll delve into my plans for June. Since I’m a bit more free from this month onwards, I’m attempting to read more than I have ever before and challenge myself, which is exciting and scary at the same time. Hopefully I’ll have only good news to share in my next wrap-up post.

February & March Wrap-Up + April Reading Month (2018)

Since I was on a hiatus around the time this post was supposed to go up for the February wrap-up, I decided to combine both the months into a single post. Both February and March were decent reading months, although I was still reeling from the effects of the book slump I mentioned in January, and my reading time was cut down severely due to work stress. I didn’t do well blogging-wise either as I was absent for a few weeks without any notice. However, I did manage some decent progress, so let’s focus on that.

January Wrap-Up + February Reading Month (2018)

I did promise you a wrap-up in my previous Saturday post and here it is! This a great way to look back on the month you’ve had and plan for the one ahead. As always, I like to keep my content original and also benefit my readers, so I’m going to be doing a quick recap of how the month went for me reading-wise, what I’m going to try and achieve in February as well as talk about my most anticipated releases so you can add some (or all) of them to your TBR. Excited? Then without further ado, let’s talk books!

Winter BiBib Wrap-Up + Other Reading Challenges of 2018

My favourite read-a-thon of the year drew to a close yesterday and I wasn’t ready to say goodbye. I love how there are so many challenges that one can do – be it just reading, blogging, bookstgraming or vlogging. I really enjoyed the whole buzz it created and reading with a lot of different people from the book community. I took part in a Twitter sprint for the first time, hosted by my friend Sam from Will Read for Booze and it was a blast! I read dangerously for this one, often staying up past my bedtime like the rebel reader I am (I prefer the title book dragon though, because worms are so passé). Here’s a breakdown of all that I’ve accomplished with respect to this read-a-thon. I will later talk about some other reading challenges I plan to take part in, so without further ado, let’s get going.
