Top Ten Tuesday: Special Editions on My Wishlist

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. How it works is that each Tuesday the host assigns a topic and then posts their top ten list that fits the topic. Every blogger can create their own top ten (or 2, 5, 20, etc.) list as well and link to the host’s. The topic for December 25th, 2018 is: Books I Hope I Find Under My Christmas Tree This Morning. I personally don’t celebrate Christmas, so I’m going to be talking about all the books I want rare and special editions of.

Top Ten Tuesday: Books on My Winter TBR (2018)

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. Every blogger can create their own top ten (or 2, 5, 20, etc.) list as well and link to the host’s. The topic for December 18th, 2018 is: Winter TBR. I love making TBRs but I rarely ever stick to them. Looking back at my older TBR posts, I found that my Summer TBR had a 70% success rate and my Fall TBR fared even worse with only a 30% hit rate. I want to be smarter about this season’s TBR so I actually pick books I’m very excited about and will positively read soon. Feel free to check back in spring and yell at me if I don’t have at least a 70% with this one!

Winter BiBib Day #3: Favourite Winter Scene

Today’s challenge is hosted by Jenica from Firewhisky Reader. Her prompt is to describe your favourite winter scene from a book and explain why you want to be in it. As I’ve previously mentioned, snow is an alien concept to me. I’m pretty sure I would not thrive well in a snowy environment. I’m finding the current winter nights (13° C) only hard to bear, which should give you an idea of how I might feel stuck inside a winter scene. Nevertheless, I do have a favourite scene to talk about from a beloved children’s classic, so let’s get into it.
