Top Ten Tuesday: My Bookish Best Friends

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. How it works is that each Tuesday the host assigns a topic and then posts their top ten list that fits the topic. Every blogger can create their own top ten (or 2, 5, 20, etc.) list as well and link to the host’s. The topic for August 14th, 2018 is: Favourite Bookish Blogs/Websites.

If you’re reading this for the very first time or are a regular reader of my blog, I’m so very grateful to you! I’m finding so much happiness in blogging and connecting with readers all over the world thanks to your support. However, this post isn’t about me or what I’m up to. I’m writing this to thank all the friends who have stuck with me through my blogging journey and have influenced me to become the blogger and reader I am today. These lovely people have not only liked my posts, commented on them, shared them and endorsed my blog but also replied to my tweets and loved my Bookstagram pictures. They are so good at blogging that they inspire me to do better. They have listened to me rant and validated my feelings. I can’t possibly limit this list to a 10! Without further ado, let me introduce these amazing people on my blog today! I must mention that most of them fall under multiple categories and I’ve listed them in this way just for convenience.

    1. This means so much to me, Justine! I honestly cannot fathom how you juggle work, blogging, YouTube, cats and also manage to have a social life! Also, your book reviews are my best source to decide whether or not I want to add some book to my TBR and your channel is my favourite on BookTube. 😊 I’m so very glad too! ❤❤❤

    1. Thank you, Briana! ❤ You’re always so very kind and I truly like how you present your views on any given topic with great clarity, be it in comments on blog posts. Yes, they are wonderful too and I hope you find a few more blogs to follow! 😊

This is such a lovely post! And quite a few blogs / bloggers here i didn't know!

I'm still in the stage where i'm trying to get to know other bloggers better. Only started really talking to people on blogs around March, but everyone have been so nice and kind!

    1. It’s still amazes me how you manage work, the blog, social media and run a bookish shop despite every thing life throws at you. You’re one of the most passionate people I know in the book community. Thank you so much for being such an inspiration! ❤

    1. I don’t have the words to express how much your friendship means to me, Sara! I know I’ve not been very good at commenting back but you’ve always been so supportive and you have the highest number of comments on my blog. 😊 Thank you for everything! ❤ *hugs back*

  4. This is one of the best posts I’ve ever read, and I’m not exaggerating! Blogging is like living in a virtual space and sometimes we can’t figure out if someone is actually, genuinely, liking our work or not but when I receive notifications of such posts that I’m tagged in, I have my faith restored–in not just myself but in all my blogger friends. Thank you so much for this appreciation! ❤

      1. I’m doing much better now that he is home. Going to be a tough two weeks as he recovers, but at least he’s safe and on his way to being healthy, which is all that really matters. Thank you! ♥♥♥

    1. Aww, Marie, you’re the sweetest! ❤ I feel like we have a lot of mutual blogger friends but I’ve never properly interacted with you. I’m also really shy, so you’ll have to excuse some initial awkwardness on my part. 🙈 They’re all amazing and I hope you find some new blogs worth following! 😊

      1. Oh no need to apologize for anything, I completely understand ❤ I used to be a bit shy about chatting with other bloggers and sometimes, I still am, but I'm getting more and more comfortable with it all. People are so open and friendly and I love that ❤ Also, we're all a little bit awkward and it's part of our charm 😀
